Easter Day is a Christian festival and cultural holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. According to the New Testament, Jesus was crucified by the Romans on a Friday, and rose again on the third day, which is Sunday. Significance of Easter Day
Easter Day is the most important and joyful festival in the Christian calendar, as it commemorates the central event of Christianity: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus’ death and resurrection fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament and demonstrated God’s love and power. They also believe that by rising from the dead, Jesus conquered sin and death, and opened the way for salvation and eternal life for those who believe in him. It is therefore a celebration of hope, victory, and new life.
