Organize them in a scrapbook
Turn old cards into a small capsule. Take a scrapbook and glue the cards to the pages. For an extra touch, you can write a story or comment on the card. That way, you can also relive great memories while browsing the guestbook.

Store similar cards with a ring holder

Punch a hole in the corner of each card. Sort the punch cards by theme or event and slip a ring clip through the holes to hold them together.

Put your cards on display

Find a visible, high-traffic location for your home. Put the cards on a bulletin board, on the refrigerator, or somewhere else where they will be noticed. Let these cards sit for a few weeks or as long as you like.

Frame your favorite card

Choose a card that has a lot of emotional meaning for you. Place the card in a picture frame and hang it where you can admire it. That way, every time you hand over a framed card, you’ll have a particularly pleasant memory.

Glue the cards to the photo mat

Cut out the card fronts and set them aside. Place the fronts of these cards on a blank photo mat as if you were creating a collage. Hold the cards in place with craft glue and cut off any pieces that hang over the edge of the frame.

Place the cards in the mason jars

Grab several clean mason jars large enough for a greeting card. Unscrew the lid and place the card inside, twisting it around the rim of the jar as you arrange it. Flip the lid back on and place the jar anywhere in your home for fun and festive decor.

Turn cards into magnets

Turn them into magnets.  Cut out your favorite part of the card. It could be the art on the front of the card or a nice message from a friend or relative. Attach the card to the magnet board and cut out an individual magnet. Now you can store and display your cards on the fridge or other magnetic surfaces.

Scan and store in computer

Scan and download them to your computer.  Digital albums do not take up space in your home. Old greeting cards are beautiful, but they can take up a lot of space over time. Instead of throwing them away, scan the cards into your computer and sort the photos into digital albums. You can organize your photos by year or event.
