Information and photos of your company will be included in the red box of this pop up card. The steps to prepare and make pop up cards are as follows:
Step 1: Prepare a piece of dark paper and fold it in half as shown below.
Step 2: Cut 3 squares of white paper with sides 11×11 cm
Step 3: Apply double-sided tape on the four sides of the square (all 3 squares) as shown below.
Apply 2 squares on the 2 inside of the pop up card. The other square is stuck on the front of the card.
Step 4: Prepare a rectangular paper sized like the image below.
Use a ruler to line the distance as shown below.
Cut off the slash as shown in the picture below.
Step 5: Fold the paper in the crevices as follows:
Fold the paper in a crease pattern. Continue to fold the two edges of the paper as shown below.
Apply the double-sided tape to the two folds on the sides of the paper. Be careful to stick the tape in opposite directions.
Step 6: Prepare a piece of dark rectangular paper with sides 10×5 cm. Fold the paper in half to make a square. Then paste the shape folded in step 5 onto this square using the following instructions.
Cut a square segment of the double-sided tape, then cut it back into a triangle and glue the opposite triangle parts in the fold in step 5.
Step 7: Take the cover of the pop up card that we did in step 1 with a line in the middle and get the midpoint of that segment.
Place the sharp corner of the shape we arranged in step 5 to the midpoint and remove the patch of the double-sided tape.
So we’ve basically completed a pop up card, the next part is sticking double-sided tape on the floating square we made and pasting the image or information that you want to convey to the recipient.
